Mark C. Prugh has been an attorney for over 30 years, focusing on a broad variety of legal matters including family law, criminal law (to include DWI and DUI cases), military law, personal injury, immigration law, state and federal litigation, and government contracting. He is licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Texas. He served as an active duty Judge Advocate General’s Corps officer for thirteen years and also served in the infantry.

Mr. Prugh holds a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas, an undergraduate degree in engineering from West Point, and a Master of Laws (LLM with a criminal law focus) from the Army Judge Advocate Generals School in Charlottesville, Virginia.

He has taught graduate students for Webster University and undergraduate classes for Drury University in the past but currently limits his teaching to graduate courses.   He has taught or is teaching such varied courses as political science, environmental law, global environmental politics, judicial process, constitutional interpretation, social justice and punishment, white collar crime, introduction to criminal law, procurement law, administrative law, and the law of security management.

Mr. Prugh has published two articles and one legal guide. He is a past president of the Waynesville/Saint Robert Lions Club and serves as a co-leader for Officer Christian Fellowship at Fort Leonard Wood. He is the past District President (North) of the United Methodist Men and served as the president of the Pulaski County Bar Association for two and a half years (from the spring of 2002 through the fall of 2004). He has also served as a board member for the Pulaski County Habitat for Humanity since 2001.

He and Dee Prugh have two children, Loren and Tyler.
